Wonderful Years School: Established in 2012, this is a private, English-language primary school located in the heart of the Warsaw's Saska Kępa. It implements the Polish core curriculum, enriched with the British math and nature science program in English. Classes of 15 hours per week are conducted by experienced, English-speaking staff from Great Britain, Canada, and the US, based on British textbooks and training materials. One of the goals of the program is to prepare children for examinations, such as the Cambridge YLE. This is also a first step to the international Baccalaureate.
At the same time, the school implements the Living Education Program, based on supporting the general development of children, taking into account their individual needs. In science, it distinguishes between different types of people: listeners, visuals and kinesthetists, and matches the child's learning styles and cognitive abilities. The facility provides access to numerous additional activities, from the prevention and treatment program for postural defects that supplements corrective gymnastics, through a range of sports activities such as judo, table tennis, ceramics, robotics, and Lego & K'nex Education. One of the school's priorities is to integrate and build a strong relationship with the local community. The facility has been cooperating with local organizations for years, such as a social welfare home, Matysiaków, the Center for Cultural Promotion, Saski Pegaz, the Parish of Divine Mercy, and the Out-of-school Workplace. The school also runs the Abracadabra nursery and the Happy Time English-language kindergarten.
