Schools of the Education and Family Support Association "Sternik" - a network of private schools, created at the initiative of parents, offering a Catholic educational model, according to which children's education should be consistent with the values passed at home. In these settings, parents are treated as the most important educators of children, whose school only supports, the teacher not only teaches but also helps the child to develop virtues that should characterize him as a human being and a Catholic. He is also a tutor for parents and the child's family. They apply the principle of gender separation, because it supports the processes of education and upbringing. For this reason, the association "Sternik" runs in Warsaw for two primary schools, junior high schools and high schools: "Sails" for boys (in Falenica and Międzylesie) and "Streams" for girls (in Józefów). Only the kindergarten located in Józefów is co-educational. These institutions offer education focused on the individual, covering all aspects of the student's personality, namely: reason, will, emotions, body, spirit, as well as a very rich curriculum. Schools implement the core curriculum of the Ministry of National Education and use the recommendations of the Institució Familiar d'Educació (IFE) from Barcelona, which brings together around 500 schools from 38 countries. Pastoral care over schools is exercised by the priest of Opus Dei.
