Social Schools of Bułhak - are educational institutions belonging to the Social School Foundation, which in the autumn of 1990 in the Wesoła district of Warsaw established one of the first social primary school in Poland. At present, the foundation runs five branches in Wesoła - from kindergarten with nursery branch to high school - providing children a safe passage throughout the entire pre-school and school education. At all levels, Bułhak offers learning in a friendly environment, individualized approach to children, teaching in accordance with the Polish core curriculum and bilingual education - in Polish and English - using the language immersion method (CLIL). Already at the early childhood education stage, students have 8 hours of English per week, of which one hour they spend with a native speaker, and two learn mathematics and nature. There are more in the older classes of English, and in bilingual classes some subjects are taught in this language. From class I, students also learn other foreign languages, with a choice of German, French and Spanish. When going to high school, students continue their education in profiled classes: - medical and natural sciences - with an extended program of biology, chemistry, mathematics and additional subjects related to this development direction, e.g. first aid, medical biology; - economic and legal - with an extended program of mathematics, knowledge about society, geography and additional subjects such as company management, the basics of law; - language and artistic - with an extended program of foreign language and Polish language learning and history, knowledge about society, as well as painting lessons, theater or journalistic workshops. In teaching, the school uses modern methods, among which the project work is the basic one. During extra-curricular activities, students are prepared for international examinations in foreign languages and subject competitions, participate in compensatory and developing activities, as well as in therapeutic classes, if there are such indications.
