Private Primary School No. 51 Jan Brzechwy Pro Beanus - it was established in 1992 as a non-public educational institution, located in the Ochota district of Warsaw. For over 25 years, he has been offering children and youth at the highest level, ranking at the forefront of Masovian schools.
The school implements the Polish core curriculum. The school's educational program combines the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) with the traditional transmission of knowledge, effectively using different teaching methods. Students in each school year participate in projects carried out in groups of classes, thanks to which they gain knowledge far beyond curricula and develop their interests.
From the 2015/16 school year, an innovative bilingualism method has been implemented in selected classes, ie CLIL subject-language teaching.
Bilingual education at school takes place in a multi-stage mode. The first stage is dominated by play elements, over time the participation of a foreign language increases adequately to the level of language competence of pupils. The weekly duration of bilingual instruction in class I is 22 hours and in class II and III 23 hours. Teachers conduct part of the classes in Polish, and some in English. In addition, one lesson per week is conducted by an English teacher who regularly controls the implementation of the English language program.
In class IV, along with subject teaching, there is a further development of linguistic skills with an emphasis on the alternate use of two languages.
The school also has a wide range of additional classes. Students participate in judo activities, play chess, learn to create ceramics and cook. In school circles of interest, they develop their musical, artistic, theatrical and even philosophical talents.
