How was this year’s Our Kids education fair? We invite you to read the summary!
What is the Private School Expo – Our Kids Expo?
Our Kids is Poland's only platform bringing together non-public educational institutions—from nurseries and kindergartens to primary and high schools. It is a space that systematically connects families with schools offering private and international education.
For over two decades, we have supported parents in making one of their most important decisions—choosing a school. We help compare curricula, understand the differences between educational models, analyze costs, and avoid hasty choices.
Why visit the Private School Expo?
Because choosing a school for your child is a major life decision that starts today. The Expo provides space for calm, substantive conversations with school representatives, allowing you to compare models and ask the questions that are difficult to pose via a contact form or a brief school visit.
The Our Kids Expo in Numbers
Our event gathered a large amount of visitors. Approximately 1,500 people (mostly families with children). Nearly 50 institutions (kindergartens, primary, and high schools). 12 experts participating in discussion panels.
These numbers demonstrate a real need for reliable information and direct dialogue between schools and parents.
Who Could You Meet at the Expo?
The halls of the Palace of Culture and Science showcased a full educational spectrum. Parents had a unique opportunity to compare:
- International Programs: Including the prestigious IB (International Baccalaureate), the British Cambridge Pathway, and American programs.
- Alternative Methods: Such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf schools.
- Bilingual and Multilingual Education: Consistently popular for its preparation for global careers.
- Educational Support: Organizations like EF Education First, Cambridge International Education, and Your Path Academy (exam prep and applications).
A vital element of the event was the discussion panels. Conversations covered recruitment, differences between international and national curricula, the importance of small class sizes, and psychological support. Experts also used the event for educational networking to discover the latest trends.

Very good organization. Currently, this is the best school fair. – Monnet International School
A very interesting initiative that allows you to get a sense of how wide the educational offerings are. I think everyone can find something for themselves here. The fair is an ideal place to present a school. – Szkoła Otwarta
Parents:
Thank you very much for the opportunity to attend the Expo. A very successful concept and execution. Congratulations. – Mr. Dariusz
I am impressed with the organization of the event. For the first time, I could meet so many interesting schools in one place, get to know the staff, and ask questions in person. – A mother with a preschool daughter
I am considering sending my daughter to a private school. I was rather skeptical about such schools, but after the Expo, I have definitely changed my mind. I didn’t realize how focused on children’s development non-public schools really are. – A mom with children
I was amazed by the sheer number of international families at the expo this weekend. It felt like every language from across Europe and beyond was being spoken in the halls. It’s clear that Warsaw has become a massive hub for expats. The venue was absolutely packed with parents and children of all ages. Definitely a high-energy environment, though a bit crowded if you were pushing a stroller! - Family with two children
Just spent the afternoon at the Private School Expo. It really felt like a family event rather than just a corporate fair. Great atmosphere, many schools, I’m impressed. - A parent looking for school with IB programme.
Key Conclusions from the 6th Edition
Discussions at the fair showed that parents are becoming increasingly analytical. They didn't just ask about tuition fees; they focused on:
- Quality of curriculum and exam results.
- Opportunities for continuing education abroad.
- Psychological support and individual approaches.
- Competencies of the future: critical thinking, independence, and collaboration.
Schools are now shifting their focus toward how these declared values—like safety and relationships—actually translate into daily practice.
What’s Next After the Expo?
For many families, the Expo was the first step. The next stage is taking action. It's a good time to evaluate the schools, visit them during the Open House days, and meet the schools in person. You can find the list of open days here.
Thank you to all the schools that joined us and to the parents who trusted us to visit the Expo. We hope that we made the decision to choose the best school for your child a bit easier.
See you next year!
