International High School of Wrocław International High School of Wroclaw - is an international high school, existing for only a few years, which draws from nearly 30 years of experience in the functioning of non-public schools run by the Foundation for International Education (FEM). Like them, it belongs to IB World School, constituting a natural continuation of education in the system of the International Baccalaureate educational program. The pupils of WIS and bilingual ATUT schools can, therefore, continue their education in IB, and most importantly - pass the Diploma Program course and do the international high school diploma, gaining the opportunity to study at the best universities in the world. The high school is open to foreign and Polish students. Science is divided into two stages - the first year is the duration of the general education program, set by the Polish educational authorities and the guidelines of the IB program. Classes are taught in Polish and English, and young people learn about a new way of learning, mainly based on research and inquiry. The next two years of study are the implementation of the Diploma Program. It fully corresponds to the level of secondary school education, except that learning takes place in English (and in the pupil's native language) and is conducted in 6 subject groups, from which students choose 3 who they want to study and their scope. Usually, they are later subject to high school exams. At the same time, students carry out research work (Extended Essay), development program (CAS) and knowledge theory course (TOK), which teach them above all the use of knowledge in practice, the pursuit of goals and self-presentation. The primary goal of the IHSW educational program is to shape the citizens of the world - conscious, critical, creative, communicative, capable of independent development, and at the same time tolerant and sensitive to other people's problems. After compulsory classes, the school offers students, among others interest groups, language classes, art, theater, dance, squash, in a word, scientific, artistic and sports activities that support their comprehensive development.
