This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Independence: Maverick Campers get to create what most of their day looks like. They have the unique opportunity to both focus on a specific program area (morning specialty camp) and try new activities (afternoon activity rotation).
Interpersonal skills: Trailblazer campers get to participate with a number of campers in and around their age every day.

Our Maverick campers are in full control of their camp day here at BVG, which is EXACTLY how they want it to be! With 20+ specialties and counting, our older campers create the perfect day by choosing their morning specialty programs.

The Maverick age group is developing a stronger sense of self and crave independence and trust from adults. They are ready and eager to show they are capable! We nurture this need with a tested support system, and processes that ensure our campers succeed.

Campers are given the freedom to choose their morning program each week and participate in other rotational camp activities in the afternoon.
