This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Interpersonal skills: Bronze Combo Camp strengthens interpersonal skills through teamwork, leadership, and clear communication during lifesaving training. Participants collaborate in rescues, provide peer support, and build trust while practicing decision-making in group scenarios.
  • Physicality: Physical fitness is key in Bronze Combo Camp. Participants build strength, endurance, and coordination through in-water rescues, swimming skills, and physical challenges that prepare them for demanding lifesaving situations.

The Bronze Combo Camp is designed for teens ready to build lifesaving skills and take the next step in aquatic leadership. Through hands-on training and instructor-led scenarios, participants work toward earning their Bronze Medallion, Emergency First Aid, and/or Bronze Cross certifications, while developing confidence, teamwork, and decision-making skills in and around the water. This camp combines certification-focused learning with an engaging camp environment and serves as a pathway toward future lifeguard training and employment.
