This program is designed to build the following character traits:

Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together.

Kids get the goods on artistic technique and skills development in this sculpt media class where their favourite treats meet fine art! They’ll be turning delicious inspiration into stunning masterpieces while exploring shape, texture, dimension, and colour. Materials will include any variety of clay, polymer clay, salt dough, paper mâché, found items like tubing and cartons, specialty papers, paint and more! As they sculpt and form swirling lollies, puffy gummy bear buddies, and foodie fine art in their fantasy factories, they’ll have plenty of support and step-by-step demonstrations from the most caring artist instructor and child and youth care practitioner, Ghena. All materials are included!
