This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together.
  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.

Crochet a cute tank or halter top with designer and Amigurumi (crochet stuffy) maker, Kayla Adamo! You might recognize her from all the local art markets and have seen hundreds of her adorable creations. In this class, participants will learn to make a stylish crochet top for the summer and develop new skills to make all sorts of fun designs as they learn, make friends and have fun.
