This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together and have fun!

Apron? Check! Paint? Check! Paper streamer propelled jet pack? CHECK!! Art and Science = Fun in this energy activated class. Children create ‘train’ with art instructor and child/youth educator, Gabby, as she provides step-by-step guidance with projects that combine fine art skills development and cool artistic experimentations with paint, paper, sculpt materials, specialty craft items and more! Get ready for a big thumbs-up as art, a dash of science and a generous handful of friendly faces take flight. All systems go! All materials are included.
