This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encouraging students to work together and achieve a common goal while fostering a sense of community and mutual respect.

Delve into a painter’s paradise and develop your watercolour and acrylic skills. Have fun exploring themes that include the natural environment, plant and animal life, the seasons as well as figure and still life. Students will learn a variety of techniques, have inspiration from a selection of references and discover how to utilize the characteristics of each medium to achieve different results. All materials are included.
