OUR KIDS review of Lambert Academy
These cake design camps and classes are taught by a master, Lesi Lambert, who’s been sculpting cakes for over 20 years. She herself has learned from masters including Nicholas Lodge and Lucinda Larson. Her certification course is renowned, and these programs are another way to purvey her love for sugar artistry, combining hands-on lessons in baking and cake artistry with other outdoor and indoor fun. Come away from camp with a unique skill that will pay sweet dividends.

Director's Message
As a parent, I understand the importance of finding experiences that truly enrich your child’s life. At Lambert Academy, our kids camps are more than just baking—they're designed to give children a sense of pride, independence, and joy that stays with them long after the treats are gone.
When we created these camps, the goal was simple: give kids the chance to work with real tools, real ingredients, and real responsibility in a safe, encouraging environment. There’s something powerful about watching a child realize they can follow steps, solve problems, and create something beautiful—and delicious—all on their own.
Our instructors are not only skilled decorators, but also kind, attentive mentors who take the time to guide each child’s unique pace and personality. We keep our class sizes small so every child feels seen and supported.

The Sweetest Road Trip: One Family's Journey to Cake Camp
The Nguyens packed their minivan in Kelowna before sunrise—two kids in the back, a playlist of road trip anthems, and one mission: get to Lambert Academy’s 3-Day Sculpted Cake Camp in Calgary.
What started as a baking-obsessed 10-year-old’s dream quickly turned into a full-on family adventure. They stopped in Banff to stretch their legs—and ended up hiking to a glacier-fed waterfall with a donut in one hand and a selfie stick in the other. In Canmore, a detour for lunch turned into a flour-flying pie-making demo at a local cafe.
But nothing topped day one of camp. The moment their daughter pulled on her apron, met her instructor, and started sketching her bunny cake design, she was dialed in. Three days later, she proudly walked out with a sculpted masterpiece and a box of thumbprint cookies she made from scratch.
For the Nguyens, this wasn’t just a camp. It was a memory etched in buttercream and pride. They’re already planning next year’s trip—and this time, her little brother wants in.
