This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Resilience: When young kids learn to code, they become problem solvers and develop critical thinking. With any problem solving, children have to stay with the problem long enough to find meaning solutions. Coding develops a child's ability to develop perseverance and resilience as they create fun projects.
  • Creativity: Code-it Hacks Inquiry and play based summer camps ensures that technology is used towards solving a real-life problem that is out of the box. Each camp demands students to engage in fun group-based activities to develop creative solutions all while having a blast with crafts and technology.

Get Creative with coding this summer in our adventurous ROBLOX coding camp. Students will learn the basics of programming and get familiar with Roblox environment. Students will make plenty of projects to be comfortable making their own levels in ROBLOX by end of the camp week

Solution Topic

  • Students will create and build a SPACE OBBY
  • How will lack of Gravity impact the players?
  • What about the SPACE debris?

Design , Experiment, Build

  • Learn the engineering process
  • Research, ideate and brainstorm an OBBY to get from EARTH to the LUNAR Orbit
  • Create amazing animations, stories and simple games with CODE
  • Build and present

Students will learn:

  • 3D World Fundamentals
  • Programming basics
  • Lua Scripting
  • Sequences and patterns
  • Game rules engine algorithm planning
  • Presentation skills

Students will make:

  • Campers will work in teams and learn the basics of Design thinking and Coding
  • Campers will create:
    • Animations
    • Stories
    • Games

Students will take home:

  • Portfolio of programming projects

Students will visit:

  • Students will either a tech company on Friday or will be visited by a tech company for expo
