This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Self-regulation: Conscientiousness, discipline, and self-control. The ability to regulate emotions and behaviour. Organization and executive functioning skills.
  • Independence: Ability and willingness to do things on one’s own. Self-initiative, self-motivation, self-care. Decisiveness.

Grade 9: Pre-IB Transition Workshop - 1X per week - July OR August 

Our IB Transition workshops are designed to prepare students for these new demands, as well as to help them understand the formal requirements and evaluation structure of the programme, so they can make a successful transition into the Pre-IB (Grade 9)* programme.


Students will learn and develop:

- Reflection
- The IB Learner Profile
- Assessments and Command Terms
- Inquiry-Based Learning
- “Worldliness” (drawing on real-world examples and references)
