This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Curiosity: Ashbury summer campers are driven to discover. They are enthusiastic learners, explorers and seek out experiences that broaden their world view.
Physicality: Ashbury summer campers move with energy and thrive on physical challenges. They are active and strive to improve strength, athletic confidence and skills.

Capital Adventure Camp (formerly called “Explore Ottawa”) invites students entering Grades 6 to 8 to embark on a thrilling week of adventure across the National Capital Region.

Campers will experience high-energy activities such as rope courses, white-water rafting, and biking excursions through Ontario and Quebec, all designed to foster teamwork, confidence, and lasting friendships.

Our experienced, professional staff are fully first aid and CPR certified, ensuring a safe and supportive environment at every step.

For safety, each participant must have a tuned-up bike, properly fitting helmet, sturdy shoes, day pack, water bottle, rain gear, and bathing suit.

Comfort with swimming and biking is essential. Join us for an unforgettable week of exploration and teamwork.
