At Osprey Camps, we believe every child deserves an unforgettable adventure packed with fun, growth, and discovery. We keep our group sizes small so campers can easily connect, collaborate, and build lasting friendships in a vibrant, supportive, and engaging setting. Proudly located at Armbrae Academy in the heart of downtown Halifax, we have been delivering dynamic summer, March break, winter break, and year-round camp programming since 2020. Our diverse offerings span everything from single-day adventures to immersive, week-long signature and specialty camps tailored for campers aged 4 to 17, complete with empowering leadership development programs for older youth.

Campers thrive in our top-notch campus facilities specially designed for kids to explore, learn, and grow. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! Registration for our 2027 camps opens in early 2027. Spots are limited and granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to secure yours early! OUR KIDS review of Armbrae Academy Camps & Summer Programmes
Osprey Camps by Armbrae Academy bring together fun, safety, structure, and growth. Armbrae Academy in downtown Halifax is an inviting setting built for learning. Camps and programs were launched by the school in 2020 as part of its participation in the wider community. Camps cover an array of interests, from arts and crafts to LEGO to STEM experiments for younger children, and sports, robotics, outdoor adventure, trips, and leadership‑oriented programs for older kids. A great strength of Armbrae camps is their commitment to small groups, ensuring that every child can build great relationships with each other and with the caring, deeply dedicated staff. It’s a nurturing, stimulating environment that supports campers’ social well‑being, self-esteem, and confidence. These well-rounded day‑camp experiences balance creativity and activity with care and structure, giving kids a chance to grow, have fun, build friendships, and gain confidence.

Eden Fisher, Coordinator of Camps, Co-Curriculars & Extended Care
Hello Campers & Families!
I am absolutely thrilled to step into this new role at Armbrae Academy, dedicated to crafting unforgettable adventures and top-notch experiences for every single camper! With a background as a Camper Care Director, I’ve spent years helping campers build confidence, make lifelong friends, try exciting new activities, and shine as bright as they can. Summer is all about discovery, joy, and growth, and I can't wait to get started!

Eden FisherStaff and Counsellors
Our passionate team of experienced teachers, energetic university students, and dedicated Armbrae students and alumni are devoted to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every camper can truly shine! Fully certified in first aid and safety protocols, our staff bring endless enthusiasm, leadership, and genuine care to every single activity and daily adventure. To enrich the experience, we also partner with fantastic specialty providers who bring hands-on educational programming, specialized skills, and unforgettable creative experiences directly to our camp!

Is your property accessible for persons with disabilities? Yes. Our staff are trained to support campers with moderate needs. If your child requires inclusion support in order to participate in the camp program, we encourage you to contact the Camp Coordinator, Eden at [email protected] to discuss what options are available.

Are meals provided? Yes. For Summer camps we offer hot lunches.
Is Armbrae Academy Camps & Summer Programmes technology free? Yes. Our staff, volunteers, and campers are not permitted to have technology at camp unless it is required for programming. The Osprey Summer Camp is well equipped with materials and toys. We request that children do not bring toys or technology from home unless specified. If toys/tech do find their way to camp, such toys will be stored and returned at the end of the day. This includes cell phones.
