Ranch Wellness, Western Trail Riding in Alberta

  • Specialized in Horseback Riding/Equestrian—offers 10 activities
  • 0 session dates to choose from

This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Courage: Horses are big animals so guests must step forward and be fearless when partnering with the horses. Otherwise the horse might decide that they are the boss and turn around and go home
  • Interpersonal skills: Horses are highly evolved beings who do not speak English so guests must have great body language awareness which will help them understand what the horse is saying. Horsemanship is a dance of give and take with lots of personal connections.

Horse Riding Experiences

Come Ride and enjoy our personable, safe, well trained horses!    

Build confidence, learn leadership and life skills! Suitable for beginners and up. Take part in our Practical heart to heart natural horsemanship program which connects people to themselves and their horses. Learn decision making and paying attention to what is going on around them.. Practice make Progress! One hour lessons, private or group. Call for details. Not available during the summer as horse camps run full time during summer.
