The STEAM Project - Intro to Woodworking (Grade 4-6)

This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: Students will explore their creative side by learning how to design and customize their projects.
  • Curiosity: Students will explore the possibilities of Science and Technology. The class will spark their curiosity to learn more.

New to woodworking? Come join us in a fun, exploration-based environment to learn how to work wood safely, use hand tools, build basic structures, and finish wooden projects to a high level of detail. Over the course of several short projects, students will gain skills, accumulate experience and build confidence to be able to pursue their own woodworking projects.
