This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Creativity: You'll put your creativity to the test through instructor challenges. Learn to think outside the box and let those creative juices flow as you explore the possibilities of interior design!
Independence: Living for two weeks in a dorm setting with a roommate is like a test run for post-secondary years--get a taste of college life, get to classes on time, manage your coursework and learn about who you are and what makes you tick!

Join high school students from across North America (and the world!) at New York School of Design in one of the most fashionable cities in the world. Here, you'll engage in coursework designed to give you a leg up in the field of Interior Design and help you decide if this is the educational path for you. Learn from experienced and accomplished instructors (designers, innovators, authors, university professors, and other academics) and pick the brains of guest speakers in a range of roles.

After morning classes, we'll explore the city, hitting all the icon sites of NYC. We'll take track-specific field trips and excursions related to the field of fashion and design. On the weekend and in the evenings, typical camp fun will ensue: hang out in the quad with your classmates, explore campus, or showcase your special skills in the talent show.
