The Summer Spotlight program is a three-week musical preparation course where students are immersed in the process of putting on a musical. From audition rehearsals to live performances, all students will experience what it is like to be part of an actual musical theatre production. Taught by working professional actors, singers and dancers, students will learn the ins and outs of the performance industry, including acting, singing, and dancing. The final Friday of the program culminates in a live performance where parents and friends are invited to share in the students' work. As this program is about building on the students' skill sets, costumes and sets are not a part of the final production.
