Find a Camp
Digital storytelling is an imaginative and engaging way for kids to share ideas and experiences. Students first create characters, themes, and digital backgrounds using various tools. Participants will then utilize a visual programming language to create their own interactive stories and animation through code. Camp objectives include creating at least two stories while teaching storytelling concepts such as genre, climax, escalation, etc. Stories might be interactive, and their complexity will vary based on children’s creativity and coding/storytelling skills. The technology used may include Ozobots and Scratch Jr.
