No ordinary summer school, St. Clare’s Oxford gives students the opportunity to build English skills, explore academic interests, and gain meaningful international experience while studying in one of the world’s most storied academic cities. Programmes are structured by age and purpose, giving students a tailored experience instead of a one-size-fits-all summer offering. For students aged 9 to 15, the focus is on building academic English and confidence in Oxford's supervised residential setting; options also incorporate STEM. For teens aged 15 to 17, programmes are more exploratory and specialised, with courses like Interactive English, IB Introduction, Business & Entrepreneurship, Science, Design, and Eco-innovation. Short courses are available for student groups. Organized around shared goals, they’re suitable for schools or educational travel groups.
A big part of the appeal is undeniably Oxford itself. Students spend the summer surrounded by museums, libraries, galleries, and the palpable weight of intellectual history. The setting gives the experience a rare sense of occasion. But the value here is not just the prestige of place. It’s the dynamic combination of academic focus, residential independence, cultural immersion, and international perspective. St. Clare’s offers a giant step forward into a global education.
