This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Independence: Campers develop independence by making choices, trying new activities, and taking responsibility for their belongings and actions. With supportive staff encouragement, they gain confidence in their abilities and learn to trust themselves while exploring new challenges each day.
Interpersonal skills: Campers strengthen interpersonal skills through teamwork, shared activities, and community living. They learn to communicate, cooperate, and show empathy while building friendships and working together toward common goals in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The overnight camp experience—made for day campers!

At Silver Lake Adventure Day Camp in Sauble Beach, campers get a taste of the full overnight experience in a fun, five-day format. With access to the swimming beach, forests, and classic camp activities, children explore the great outdoors while building confidence, friendship, and skills.

Each day includes games, crafts, swimming, music, and nature adventures led by experienced camp staff. Campers enjoy the same energy, spirit, and community that make Silver Lake special—all in a day they’ll never forget.
