Arduino is a powerful yet accessible design tool which combines principles of programming and electronics, and can be used as the brains behind a multitude of modern engineering projects. In this program, participants will be introduced to the Arduino as a tool, and tasked to use it to complete design challenges - learning the necessary skills along the way! We will make use of other common prototyping tools, including sensors, breadboards and more!
Activity example: Smart Home Devices - Participants will create a simple smart device using an Arduino as a brain. These devices will be pitched against each other in a “Shark Tank” style competition.
