The Leader-In-Training (LIT) program is a two-week leadership experience that provides opportunities for participants to focus on the development of essential leadership skills such as communication, teamwork, giving and receiving feedback, and public speaking.
Through peer-to-peer feedback, game-based skill development, and opportunities to lead younger camper groups, LITs become more well-rounded leaders and excellent candidates for future Counsellors-in-Training (CITs). With the help of their facilitators, LITs apply their skills in volunteer roles at camp, earning volunteer hours throughout two weeks.
