This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Curiosity: Be inspired by the wonders of ROM! Learn about history, science, art, and culture with trips to our diverse galleries, from Egypt, to Dinosaurs, to Minerals, and more--there is something for everyone!
  • Creativity: Partake in crafts and activities inspired by ROM's vast collections! Use an array of mediums to make everything from collages to dioramas.

What can we discover from a fallen city? Why, just about anything! From daily life to their untimely demise, the relics and ruins of ancient civilizations are some of history's greatest treasures. Get your hands on relics like ancient inventions and weapons of war that made Egypt, Rome and Byzantium some of the world's greatest empires, before exploring their ruins to uncover the mystery of their final fall.
