Find a Camp
This beginner program is the first step into the sport of sailing for those
with minimal to no experience. Beginner sailors build a strong foundation
of sailing skills, such as points of sail and tacking and gybing. Participants
use a boat best suited for their size and are gradually introduced to
concepts to improve their sailing experience. Fun shore activities around
RCYC and Toronto Islands will go alongside exciting adventures on the
water.
Ages 8+
Prerequisite: None Required
• Suggested Age: 8 to 11 years old

• Prerequisite: None Required
• Average Age: 11 to 14 years old
• Session Length: Two Weeks
