Who are you as an organization?
Where your camper will make friends, outside, all day.. We even have work space so parents can stay. Welcome! Give your kids a real positive experience of trees, plants, bugs, mud, soil, flowers, while working collaboratively on projects they'll get to take home each week. They'll learn about how and why we're regenerative farming; the carbon cycle, how soil works, how nutrients flow, how we raise animals to improve the environment and create nutritious food. Making Farm Friends Forever. We're very serious about this :) Everything we do is designed to make sure our campers find and make friends. The worst experience would be to get to the end of the day and not want to come back. We actively work to make sure this doesn't happen.

What do you do differently or uniquely well?
"Structured mornings with Free-Flow afternoons.
Mornings are designed to meet learning objectives. Your camper will have opportunity for facilitated exploration of our regenerative enterprises, as well as the forest, ponds, creeks, and riparian spaces.
But afternoons are what our campers look forward to the most. Think of RISE camp as a place where your camper can just play; be a kid, fall into flow state and freely explore, without the risk of traffic, abductions, and what other parents might think if ever something happened for letting your child play 'unsupervised'.
Expect your camper to play, explore, make friends, and generally have fun outdoors while still under adult supervision, They'll be tuckered out by pick up!"Who are your staff and counsellors?
"Our Programming Advisor & Curriculum Expert is a trained artist, educator, facilitator, food enthusiast, and parent of two who has been developing outdoor forest school programming since 2008 for organizations including Native Child & Family Services Toronto, The Children's Storefront, Essential Skills Advantage, The Canadian Homeschooler, the Education department of the AGO, Ontario Museum of Archeology, and Arts 4 All Kids.
Our Camp Counsellors are pursuing degrees in Health Science, Biology, Psychology, Arts, and Athletics. They bring a wealth of experience in facilitating child-led-learning and have been camp counsellors in prior years. "What do families need to know about registration?

The depth of programming comes from the curriculum leader’s expertise in developing outdoor programming, acquired through 15-plus years with various national and provincial bodies. Rise immerses kids in learning hands-on from a working regenerative farm. That’s the morning.
Free-form afternoons allow them time to just play and be kids outside, experiencing the farm air, trees and plants, barnyard animals, and dirt and mud. It’s a wonderful outdoor experience for kids from Woodstock, Brantford, and beyond. -

Accommodations
Is Rise Regenerative Farm & Forest Camp technology free? Yes While the counsellors will use their phones to capture photos throughout the day, and some activities require the use of a microscope and television for all to view, there is a no phone/screen policy for campers during their day with us. Your camper will be much too engrossed in the great outdoors to care about their screen anyways.
