A series of free sports clinics offered by Concordia University students aims to help young athletes work on fundamental skills and learn about teamwork.
Led by Concordia students and varsity athletes, the clinics focus on growth and individual improvement rather than competition. Working in small groups, kids will learn about good sportsmanship and collaboration with teammates as well as how to improve their game.
Kids can choose one of three areas of focus: multisports (ages 6-14), soccer (ages 8-14), and flag football (ages 8-14). All clinics are open to both boys and girls. Kids should wear a pair of comfortable running shoes and sports-appropriate clothing.
Clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Nov. 18 & 25 and Dec. 2 & 9, 2018 at the Concordia Stinger Dome, 7200 Sherbrooke St. W., N.D.G.
Participants must register online at stingers.ca/camps/sport_clinics.php at least 48 hours before the session of their choice.
