Brain Power alumna Cora Usurelu wins the SHAD Cup!

Congratulations to Brain Power alumna Cora Usurelu who won the SHAD Cup at McGill University this summer! Cora heard about SHAD through our posting of Student Opportunities at Brain Power. Brain Power Director & Founder, Dr. Karine Rashkovsky, supported Cora with her application essay and connected her with previous Brain Power students who attended SHAD.

"Shad Canada is a STEAM and entrepreneurship program for students in grade 10 and 11. Shad Canada’s program attracts students with high aptitudes for risk taking, curiosity, excellence and resilience, and prepares them to take on social and economic challenges. The month-long program includes a real-world design challenge that asks students to work on issues such as food security, water management and waste."
