About this Day Camp

Lakefield College School Summer Programs, Farming Adventures

This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Courage: In this program, campers will step outside their comfort zone to explore the Farm.
  • Curiosity: Campers will approach this program with curiosity through an opportunity to explore nature and expand farming skills.

Campers will spend their mornings at LCS's Northcote farm learning about regenerative agriculture and preserving summer through hands-on, fun learning experiences. Seeding, planting, harvesting, outdoor cooking, creativity, and the joy of farm life will be awaiting campers in our Farming Adventures program. The other half of their day will be spent enjoying our waterfront campus by signing up for activities like paddling, playing sports, or doing art activities.
