Bring your leadership skills to the next level! This experience is ideal for those looking to explore a new culture, make new friends, and get lend a hand on restoration and conservation efforts to help sustain this one-of-a-kind paradise. Learn from local leaders and meet teens from across North America (and the world!) as you spend two weeks working, playing, and learning together.
Embark on an unforgettable journey in Gunung Leuser National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as you trek through the lush wilderness in search of orangutans in their natural habitat. Contribute to the preservation of the orangutan habitat by participating in reforestation efforts in the "buffer zone," previously cleared for palm oil production. Extend your impact by teaching English to local children, emphasizing conservation and sustainability. Collaborate with a local NGO to actively engage in collecting and sorting plastic, transforming it into reusable items to combat environmental challenges.
We'll also dive deep to discover our individual paths, including exploring our leadership styles and professional and educational goals for the future.
