Interpersonal skills: Campers explore the mysteries of Treasure Island through challenges, games, and interactive quests. Each activity sparks curiosity, teamwork, and reflection, inspiring campers to understand themselves and others while navigating fun and meaningful adventures!
Creativity: Campers unleash their creativity through map-making, treasure chest crafts, and imaginative role-play. From designing pirate tools to creating adventure stories, every activity encourages problem-solving, collaboration, and thinking like a true treasure-seeker!

Treasure Island – Adventure Awaits!

At GlenOak Academy Summer Camp, we provide a traditional summer camp experience that's fun, engaging, and full of hands-on learning! Each week, our camp is built around a unique theme, giving campers the opportunity to dive into exciting activities that spark their curiosity and creativity.

What makes our camp special?
GlenOak Academy Summer Camp combines fun learning opportunities with interactive and age-appropriate activities that inspire growth and exploration. Campers experience a balance of academics (led by certified teachers), arts, and recreation fun while making memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Our camp is designed to foster learning in a holistic and exciting way.

What will your child experience?
This week, campers set sail on a Treasure Island adventure, navigating challenges and uncovering hidden treasures along the way. Each day brings hands-on activities, team missions, and problem-solving quests that build self-regulation, teamwork, and communication skills. By the end of the week, campers will leave confident in their ability to navigate challenges, work with others, and achieve their goals!

A typical day at camp:
Each morning begins with a large-group gathering filled with energizing games or interactive challenges. Campers then split into smaller, age-based groups for themed lessons and activities, practicing Language, Math, and Science skills aligned with the Ontario Curriculum. Creative art projects, active games, and outdoor play round out the day's adventures. Weekly highlights also include a unique on-site field trip that enhances the week's historical theme.

Friday Fun:
We’ll finish Treasure Island Week with an exciting Pirate Adventure Feast! Campers will join forces for a final treasure hunt, solve riddles, and show off their pirate skills in fun challenges across the camp. After the adventure, everyone will enjoy a pizza lunch, celebrating their discoveries and teamwork, followed by a lively pirate-themed wrap-up with music, cheers, and plenty of laughter!
