The Panorama day usually starts with a guest speaker, who is either a member of the McGill faculty or a professional in the field. The topics range from a specific topic of research, to the general requirements of a program of study.
Campers will begin each day at 8:30, at the McGill Welcome Centre (3415 Rue McTavish, near the Roddick Gates).
There is a consistent leader for the Panorama, who has decades of experience teaching in Montreal and working with McGill. The group leader visit to facilities associated with the topic, such as the McGill Chemistry labs, where campers will have the chance to participate in workshops and experiments, like making cyanotypes with a rare book specialist and an astro-optics workshop with the McGill Astrophysics outreach team.
