Dr. Joel Benabu, Head of Brain Power Toronto, is thrilled to invite you to our new midtown campus at De La Salle College, in Toronto!
Did you know that our faculty and programs have been helping kids meet their academic potential for over 30 years in Vaughan? Now, we're honoured to be a part of a much larger Brain Power community that is thriving across eight campuses and online!
Please join us for an opportunity to meet and chat with our Ph.D and expert faculty while having fun trying to solve critical thinking word challenges and math & logic puzzles.
We're excited to announce that our featured guest for the day will Stacy Costa, a PhD candidate in STEM education from OISE and one of two Enigmatologists in the world! Stacy will have a dynamic puzzle station to challenge and delight you and will also answer your questions about puzzles and cognitive development.
During this open-house meet & greet, you will also:
1. Learn more about the magic of Brain Power's math program: Join veteran Math instructor Vadim Tyuryaev, our resident data scientist and Ph.D candidate in Statistics, who will share insights into our dynamic math program and why children LOVE their math and problem solving classes so much!
2. Discover the ‘secret sauce’ of our Language Arts courses: Dr. Joel Benabu will supply information about our Language Arts program, Canada's longest and most reputable critical thinking and language enrichment program.
3. Meet our Leadership: say hello to Brain Power's CEO, Vanessa Iarocci, who is eager to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
And of course, we'll have:
- On-site assessments available
- On-site guidance for selecting your courses for 2024/25 at one or more of our 3 Toronto
- Campuses (uptown, midtown, and downtown)
- The opportunity to mingle with some of our existing families while enjoying light refreshments and snacks
