In Maker Robotics Forky AI Camp, children become robot inventors as they build playful, character-inspired robots that can sense and respond to their environment. This AI Light camp blends hands-on robotics, circuits, and beginner-friendly AI concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
Campers design and build their own robot using craft materials, motors, lights, and sensors, then explore how inputs, like movement or gestures, can trigger responses. Through guided activities, students learn how simple decision rules help robots react, laying the groundwork for understanding how AI systems work.
Each day encourages experimentation: build, test, adjust, and improve. Kids learn that mistakes are part of the process and develop persistence as they refine both their robot designs and their logic.
By the end of the camp, children will have:
This camp is ideal for curious kids who love building, inventing, and seeing their creations come to life.
