STEM Camp is where fun and learning meet, with awesome activities that encourage campers to explore their sense of wonder, promote discovery, reward curiosity, and leave them amazed at what they can do! STEM Camp is a not-for-profit day camp founded in 2013, with over 50 locations in Ontario and 3 in British Columbia.
Each camp week features a theme for an extra layer of fun - and July 2-5, our theme is Superheroes! This week and every week, campers will be exposed to awesome activities involving coding, robotics, science experiments, engineering builds and so much more. And this week, all that excitement will have a special Superhero flavour…
Campers, assemble! This week is filled with adventures and challenges only our superheroes will be able to face! Armed with their curiosity as well as fun tools like Minecraft, Scratch, Micro:bits and more, our superheroes will be called on to develop security systems for their base, create DNA for their own superhero (with candy!), build a flying machine, create a mechanical hand for Thanos, make kryptonite, and so much more. Grab your cape and get ready to use the power of STEM to save the world!
