This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Curiosity: Learning to code sheds a whole new light on how to think about problem solving. Coupled with some great coaching campers will want to learn more!
  • Resilience: Coding logically is like learning a new language and can take a little practice before bots move the way they want them too. It can be frustrating, but there always is a solution. Staff will coach through the challenges.

Children love to build and code robotic devices and we have the perfect introductory program for all ages. This 5 day session will take students through all the components and capabilities of the LEGO Spike Prime. They'll work on challenging builds and then code their devices to perform a variety of tasks. Engaging, fun and curriculum related. There are no prerequisites for this camp, however students must be able to read and perform basic mathematical operations.
