This course is designed to develop the communication and conflict resolutions skills in students while building empathy for the world around them. Students will work as a group, or independently, to apply leadership skills to solve complex problems. The application-focused course will help students learn about leadership styles and better understand who they are as a leader. This course will cover topics that include: Me as a Leader, Communication and Response Styles, Conflict and Resolution, Empathy, and Digital Citizenship. There will be a strong focus on leadership in the digital world, using real life, age appropriate examples, such as Instagram influencers and YouTube stars.
A 13% HST Tax is applicable to non-credit academic programs.
