Movember
Glenn Arbour is celebrating Movember with a special mustache themed photo booth! For a small donation of $2, students can participate in group photos with mustache props! All proceeds go towards Movember Canada. Movember fundraising will continue until Wednesday November 30th.
Student Council has made special fact presentations at opening to explore the impacts of Movember fundraising, as well as various men's health issues that are prevalent in Canada and North America. Student Council aims to build awareness and advocacy around the issues of men's health by encouraging all to participate and help support GAA mo's! Our fundraising page can be accessed online at Movember.ca.
The Giving Tree
As outerwear clothing donations continue to arrive for our Giving Tree Clothing Drive, student council has decorated a special school tree in various winter items. Donated winter boots were placed under the tree, while hats, scarves and mittens served as decorations. Thank you to all who so generously donated!
Rotary Music Festival Performance
On Friday November 25th, the GAA Highlander Choir performed their melody that won them First Place in the Burlington Rotary Music Festival! Parents and staff enjoyed the moving and emotional performance during opening. Well done Highlander Choir!
