Grade 4 Fire Safety Presentation: December 12th, 2016
Today, the Burlington Fire Department visited the grade 4 class to discuss fire safety and prevention. The firefighters talked to the students about the types of fire alarms found in a house, escape plans, kitchen safety, emergency numbers and also looked at fire gear and tools. The firefighters even convinced Mrs. Cowie to gear up in one of their uniforms! The grades 4’s are excited to enter a draw to win a pizza lunch with the firefighters and have their names entered to try to win a mountain bike this June!
