What Country Day School says about their university placement record and services:

  • In yet another example of the balance we strive for at CDS, members of our Class of 2025 are pursuing a broad range of academic and professional disciplines. Broken into five major academic categories, this years graduates are split relatively evenly between the Life Sciences (26%) and Social Sciences (23%), with Business leading at 30%, followed by Physical Sciences & Engineering (18%) and Visual and Performing Arts (3%). Some unique and interesting disciplines include Management Engineering, Journalism, New Media, Music, Sport and Exercise Science, Medicine and Surgery, Global Engineering, Community Design, and Creative Writing/English Language and Literature, to name just a few. Western University leads the charge for the third time in four years, with 15 of our best and brightest heading down the highway to London. McGill University is a close second, with nine students opting to study in Montreal. We are represented from coast to coast in Canada, with students enrolling at Dalhousie, Victoria, UBC Vancouver, and UBC Okanagan. South of the border, interest grew this year, with eight students accepting offers from U.S. institutions. New York City and California stand out, with three students headed to the Big Apple (NYU [2] and Fordham) and two students joining the University of California system (San Diego and Irvine). Four intrepid grads are heading overseas, with three studying in England at Exeter, East London, and Lancashire, respectively. A fourth student is headed to France (CentraleSuplec) for the first two years of a joint program with McGill.
