Summertime: Academic Programs Twice a Week
Our popular Reach Ahead Program continues every summer for students to get a head start on the challenging courses they will encounter in their next chool year. Students also have the option to earn course credits during the summer, which we offer in-class or through correspondence (online) programs. Here are the options:
Grades 7 and 8: Math and English
Grades 9 and 10: Math, Science and English
Grade 11: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
Grade 12: Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, Data Management, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English

Ever wonder if anything you're learning in school is actually used in the real world? Find out how all kinds of concepts learned in high school are applied to everyday situations. During a typical workshop, we further develop theories seen in High School Math and Science classes and use them to build a variety of constructions. Learn about Electrical, Mechanical, and Computer Engineering disciplines. Ever wonder what Astrophysics and Cosmology are all about? Join us and build computational models of our solar system, where we can actively explore concepts in orbital mechanics. Perhaps you'd rather design, build, and program a robot to act and think for itself? You can even learn about how our economy works and compete with your classmates for the highest return on your investment through market simulations. No matter which of our workshops you choose, expect to be challenged!
