On October 3rd, a dental hygienist visited Bond Academy to teach the children about the importance of oral health. It is crucial to teach children, from a very early age, about the benefits of good oral health habits. Children from Montessori 1 and 2 enjoyed the presentation and learned a lot about oral health.
The dental hygienist showed pictures and did a step-by-step demonstration, on models of baby teeth, of how to appropriately use a toothbrush. Children learned how to keep their teeth clean and were made aware that some foods can damage tooth enamel.
At the end of the presentation, as a reward for their attention, all the children were given a toothbrush to take home with them.
It is crucial to teach children, from a very early age, about the benefits of good oral health habits.
