Find a Camp
Our popular Summer Tennis Camp is appropriate for beginner, intermediate and experienced players and takes place on Appleby’s five hard tennis courts. During more than four hours of court practice and play daily, campers are grouped by age and skill level. Our expert instructional staff takes great pride in providing a flexible program that caters to campers' needs within small groups.
Emphasis is placed on skill development and fun through a circuit of drills and games. Essential skills including the forehand, backhand, lob, serve and volley techniques are emphasized along with court etiquette and game strategy. The Appleby Tennis Camp Tournament takes place on Fridays for all campers. A nutritious lunch, with hot selections in Appleby’s cafeteria is included daily. Campers will work up a sweat on the court, join in some recreational games and be able to cool off in Appleby’s indoor swimming pool.
Campers are required to bring their own labelled tennis racquet.
