Timothy, a parent at Niagara Christian Collegiate (NCC), shared his perspective on the school's welcoming boarding environment, supportive teachers, responsive communication, and multicultural experience. He reflected on how NCC helped his son transition to living abroad, providing clear academic guidance and a supportive community while giving him the opportunity to broaden his perspective by learning alongside students from different cultures.
Highlights from the interview
We met a teacher who taught my wife at that time, and she recommended this school. After considering it and browsing the website, we decided to send my son to register for NCC.
At first, he was quite anxious because it was the first time he went abroad to live by himself. Fortunately, the dorm staff, the teachers, and the principal were all nice, and they explained well all the life and the rules there.
One of the things that the teachers explained well was the coursework and the homework, and they let my son understand what he needed to do.
As an international student, he really broadened his eyes to see around the world, and this let him understand that there are many different cultures and people around him helping him.
All the teachers are very responsive. At one time, we were not sure about the homework, and we left a message. Within hours, probably during our night and their day, we got a reply explaining what they expected my son to do.

Just visit the school and talk to the teachers. They will most likely be friendly and speak to you about what you want.
