We donated tons of toys and food this holiday season!

On Friday December 6th, WINGS held the annual Christmas Food and Toy Drive. We asked all the students to bring in at least two nonperishable food items and one toy. After collecting all the donations, we had a table bending under the weight of all the toys and boxes upon boxes of food items! All of the donations were sent with the Toronto Police Foundation to go to multiple women's shelters and needy families in our community. We spoke with a shelter representative who was very grateful and told us about the families who would be benefitting from the donations. It was another successful year, and we are very grateful to all the families who donated food and toys. We also want to thank all the WINGS members who helped organize the event. They put the word out at the school, collected all the donations, and packaged them up to be transported. The holidays are a little brighter and warmer this year!
