(5) Student Experience

Lynn Rose Heights has been the most incredible experience for my daughter. She is is 9 years old, in grade 4 and has been attending Lynn Rose for 3 years. She suffers from anxiety and I mention that because when you drop your child off for the day, you feel worried of how she will make it through the day with her fears. I have to say that all of the teachers and staff go above and beyond to help her get through the day with ease. They always listen to what I have to say and even come up with strategies that have helped her. They have continued to build her confidence and she is excited to go to school everyday! She was even in the school play last year!!

(5) School Leadership

I have nothing but great things to say about the leadership In this school! They have always communicated and supported me with any questions or concerns I might have. They have always attended to my daughters needs and email me with questions or updates. They help make my daughters school day a happy, positive learning environment! They treat each student as an individual and teach them to treat each other with respect and kindness. They encourage students to ask questions and address any concerns that may arise. True leaders!!

(5) Teaching

The teachers at LRH are truly caring and compassionate. They have supported my daughter not only academically but emotionally. They go out of their way to take the time to give her what she needs. She often needs a gentle approach with extra time in certain subjects and with their support she has been able to thrive! The open communication they provide is amazing and they work as a team to help my daughter be successful in so many levels!

(5) Academics

Academics are the core of Lynn Rose Heights. They have state of the art, in class technology and a fantastic teacher to student ratio which helps children retain information at a much faster speed. It’s such a wonderful feeling to have your child come home from school talking about how much fun she’s had and what she has learned that day.

(5) Extracurriculars

My daughter has just started to participate in the extracurricular activities and I couldn’t be more happy. They have helped build her confidence to be in the school play this year! She went from a shy, anxious child being in the audience to performing on stage.. she has come such a long way! They also offer so many clubs and sports during the school year. Swimming , karate, gymnastics, basketball and choir are just a few. The schools trips and learning experience they provide is unbelievable! They also provide before and after school care for us working parents which is so helpful! They seem to offer everything they can to meet every child’s needs.

(5) Students

I believe that LRH invest so much time with the students to teach them to treat eachother with respect and kindness. They all seem very caring towards eachother. The older kids are always helping out the younger ones and take the time to teach them and help them when needed. They truly give them someone to look up to. The classrooms are small so it gives the kids a chance to really get to know each other on a much more personal level.

(5) School Life

My daughter loves attending Lynn Rose Heights! I can honestly say she never complains about going to school and is actually excited! Since attending LRH with the assistance of staff and teachers she has thrived both personally and academically! She loves going on class trips and really looks forward to pizza and movie days. When she comes home from school she talks my ear off about what she leaned, her friends and teachers. I feel like the teachers work hard on not giving too much homework so they can focus on family time and extra activities. It’s so nice to put my daughter on the bus with a smile!

(5) Community

LRH is always fundraising for local charities and giving back to the community. It also encourages the students to learn about their community and local charities. My daughter came home after a fundraiser and wanted to go through her toys and donate some to children in need!! They are always looking for parents to be involved with the school, volunteering for trips or giving ideas for ways to ensure every child has a positive learning environment!

(5) School Location

The location of LRH is perfect for my family. They offer a door to door bus pick up that I feel safe putting my daughter on every day! The grounds are safe and well monitored every recess and lunch. It’s close to the local community centre where a lot of extracurricular activities occur. It’s in a safe, well maintained quiet area without a lot of traffic and near trails and parks!
