In fact, the school is both younger and more progressive than it might initially seem. Progressive (sometimes called "in- quiry-based") curricula attempt to place children's interests and ideas at the heart of the learning experience. Play-based programs are the most common type of preschool and Kindergarten, and are founded on the belief young children learn best through play. SJK begins to accept applications on August 15 for the next academic year. We encourage families to apply early as we typically receive more applications than we have available places.

To enroll your child is a simple process. Please know that because we maintain small classes (at 16 students maximum), you are wise to apply as early as possible. The application does not require a fee until you have visited Lee Academy and placement is arranged.
